Technical Editorial Methodology
This page explains how MKTech Industry Sdn Bhd develops and maintains the handbook as an educational engineering and application-selection resource for Malaysian industrial users.
Purpose and intended audience
The handbook supports engineers, fabricators, production and maintenance teams, supervisors, safety personnel, quality personnel, technical buyers and application specialists working with industrial grinding, cutting and surface-finishing processes. Its purpose is to explain mechanisms, variables, selection logic, safe application boundaries and troubleshooting methods in practical language.
Technical scope
The publication covers abrasive fundamentals, material behaviour, bonded and coated abrasives, grinding and cutting, finishing and polishing, related filtration and cleaning processes, inspection, safety, maintenance, technical procurement, process economics and troubleshooting. Detailed chapter content remains available as crawlable HTML, with the complete PDF provided as a supplementary download.
General guidance and product-specific information
General engineering principles describe mechanisms and practices that can apply across product families. They must not be interpreted as an operating specification, approval or performance guarantee for an individual MKTech item. Product-specific operating limits, intended use, dimensions, compatibility and safety information should be confirmed against the product label, Technical Data Sheet or MKTech representative.
Technical evidence policy
Content is developed from established abrasive-industry principles and authoritative sources such as standards bodies, regulators, recognised engineering institutions, manufacturers and peer-reviewed technical literature. Technical statements are written within the scope supported by those sources. Manufacturer-specific data and comparative performance claims are used only when attributable to the applicable product documentation or controlled evidence.
Editorial and revision policy
Revisions may address technical accuracy, clarity, safety, standards, navigation, accessibility, source quality and application usefulness. Material changes are reviewed before publication, chapter URLs are retained where practical, and controlled source files remain the basis for future releases. Revision dates are displayed only when reliable publication records exist.
Safety limitations and instruction priority
The handbook supports risk-aware selection and application, but it does not replace workplace risk assessment, competent supervision, training, legal duties or product instructions. The applicable machine, abrasive, accessory and equipment manufacturer's instructions—including rated-speed, mounting, guarding, inspection and intended-use requirements—take precedence where relevant. Stop work when product identity, condition, compatibility or safe operating limits cannot be confirmed.
Using and citing the handbook
Use the canonical HTML chapter URL when linking to a technical topic. Preserve the context, safety boundaries and distinction between general guidance and product-specific data when quoting or summarising the publication. The handbook is published by MKTech Industry Sdn Bhd, Malaysia.
